ActivaMente was born from the realization that “unisex” cycling gear isn’t truly made for us. The female cyclist deserves apparel that celebrates her form, supports her strength, and thrives in the Caribbean climate.

Founded by a Puerto Rican female entrepreneur and ACE-certified personal trainer (since 2020) with a B.S. in Planning, Public Policy & Management and a minor in Public Health, ActivaMente was intentionally created to fill the gap in women’s cycling apparel.

Every detail — from the tropical-inspired logo to the breathable, quick-drying fabrics — was designed for the realities of island riding: heat, humidity, rain, and freedom. Hey, I’m Alena Lidey Santiago, founder of ActivaMente. I created this brand because women deserve cycling apparel that truly understands us. For years, “unisex” gear never fit right, never felt right, and never reflected the strength, beauty, and confidence of the female cyclist.

As a Puerto Rican woman, personal trainer, and lifelong lover of intentional living, my vision was simple: design clothing and jewelry that feel like a second skin, move with your body, and inspire your mind. I wanted pieces that support you in the heat, humidity, rain, and freedom of our island rides — pieces that make you feel strong, feminine, and completely yourself.

ActivaMente is more than a brand. It is a community, a safe space, and a small love letter to every woman who chooses to show up for herself.
